pockyloveish music is made to brainwash you like that & apparently it's working. Music is the devils way of lulling the subconscious mind & hypnotize you into wasting your time dreaming & wishing u were someplace better, when in reality you should be focusing your energy on the here & the now & improving your life here on Earth into the best that it can be. Lucifer was minister of music in heaven before he was banished to hell & now one way he pulls souls away from God is by sending his army to Earth in human form, gifted with vocal & musical talent, purely to distract you from God & feed his energy needs by instead concentrating on his music & idolizing his flesh form (the musical artist). So please stop laying in your bed listening to this for 3+ hours & go out and improve your life & help lead ppl to God. Namaste.

Ok I've seen several "lives" and a fundamental difference I see between her and other artists is that she's not performing a song. She's trying to share *herSelf* with the audience. godDAMMIT that's beautiful.
@iammarcodorian12 жыл бұрын
Her technique is perfect. She mixed perfectly her registers in order to the meaning of the lyrics... People who think she's not a good singer are just not sensible to all the shades that the human voice can have. She uses a lot of tones and colors, and sometimes the color can even be a sharp or flat tone.

Perfect. In a relaxed setting, or said another way, live studio (something she is doing more often now on the talk shows), or intimate crowd like this video, or when she is feeling comfortable in her element, she is pretty much untouchable by any other artist In my humble opinion. Can she sing? Of course! The question is can anyone else come close to her unique talent when she does her thing live.

live versions are supposed to be different from the recorded versions. singing live allows the artist to interpret the song differently each time. this is why people go to concerts. lana's amazing in this performance.
@IvyCheang11 жыл бұрын
I think the style of Land Del Rey's music leads to her singing airily on her high notes (tho she can sing it round) and play with her voice quite a bit. That's why it's hard to tell exactly whether she's playing or bad at certain places. For examples, she tends to sing syllable by syllable sometimes. One can say that means she's a horrible singer, or she's playing with the music because we just can't tell whether it's done for artistic reason or to hide her lack of technique. Personally tho, I believe she's a good singer because she does show that she can round her notes when the song requires it. She just might've played with her voice a lil too often in performances.

@danielbenitez69856 жыл бұрын
No.. she's simply transitioning through registers. Her obvious strong registers are fry (lowest possible notes, most females avoid), modal (speaking voice) and falsetto/flageolet (flute register). Her style is fully comprised of transitioning through these registers (with rare hits of chest/mixed voice) and while sometimes it sounds messy (perhaps experimenting) she usually does it with pristine artistry and that's what sets her apart. She's as fluent in the vocal fry as Mariah Carey is in the whistle register. That and fact she has such a unique tone able to mimic 1930s-50s style of singing is why nobody else today can beat her in her style. She owns her style.

Her strength is in her falsetto & high voice.. not her low range, which is what she sings a lot with. I read she switched to it because people take to lower ranged female voices better, and it's true. Either way, the composition of her songs are really great.. regardless of if the notes are in her true vocal range or not. I like it either way, but you can tell she is much better at singing high notes than low.
