i'm a simple man.. i see a Lana reaction video, i watch the whole thing and like it :) - there's definitley a market on youtube for these kinds of thoughtful reactions. Excited to see your first reactions to the rest of her discog - 100% worth your time!!

Great reaction! Loved the fact that you dive deep in the production, vocals and lyrics (Peaky Blinders is a perfect match with the theme btw). I suggest you continuing in order to digest her growth (lately she’s more likely a poet than production variety): 2) Paradise EP (violins and more cinematic), 3) Ultraviolence (her indie rockish album), 4) Honeymoon (very dreamy and ethereal), 5) Lust For Life (her most popish and collaborating album: The Weeknd, Stevie Nicks, among others), 6) Norman F* Rockwell (poetry and one of her best), 7) Chemtrails Over the Country Club (her more country side), 8) Blue Banisters (slowed pace, more personal and great lyrics) and 9) ..Ocean Blvd (her most mature album about her life, family, death and other themes). Hope you enjoy this big ride!

Good job picking up the theme of the album. I know it's hard on first listen and when you're swept up in the production of her songs but I'd always urge anyone listening to Lana for the first time not to lose sight of the lyrics. Lana is a poet and a great storyteller. Hope to see more Lana here! I strongly recommend going chronologically to see her stories unfold and her music mature. Greetings from Dorset. :)

I'm so happy you liked it!!! And your analysis was pretty spot on. Definitely check out the Paradise EP next as it belongs to this album. Absolutely gorgeous imagery, soundscape and fantastic songs all around. I recommend going chronologically with the rest of her albums in general! :)

I loved your reaction, you really feel her music. Next should be Paradise EP, It is almost a continuation of this album and I think you will like it very much.

Yes, you were spot on about the themes and production on this album. It might be good to listen to her records chronologically, to go on an amazing journey and to see her progression as one of the most influential artists around today.

This album was absolutely critically panned when it first came out. People were calling her a pretty face with no talent, an industry plant, every unflattering thing you can think of, but it’s my favorite Lana album to this day. She’s a POET, truly a visionary, and I’m glad the critics have finally caught up. She’s my favorite working lyricist.

Great reaction! Your interpretations and comments were very insightful for a “noob” 😊 I love how you were describing This is what makes us girls, and you used words “youth” and “reckless”. It shows Lana’s ingenuity and it also seems like you will get her. She uses those two words repedetly in a song on her latest album (which is a masterpiece).

You'll appreciate and learn about her musical style and her life which will help with the later albums. I've been listening to Lana since 2011 and have never looked back
