@@annadean387 i care about things. I’ve also been listening to her for years longer than most people even knew about her. I’ve been a fan for a long time. However, I’m disappointed in her live performances. She doesn’t have the range she attempts to sing. She doesn’t do Justice to songs that aren’t her style. Those are the reasons she became as successful as she did...because she was doing something all her own and unique. I really enjoy those performances and the opposite when she tries to display a range she doesn’t have or cover songs that don’t suit her at all. I feel Like she does those things because of ego or the wrong people feeding that, But either way that’s what it comes down to. I am just as entitled to my Opinion and I’m not going to praise everything she does when I can still be objective because I Don’t fawn over celebrity.

@Burklykim13 ! Your comment is the one that made me question about my opinions. Her music felt like challenging the borders for me. More specifically, I thought she is reckless (in a imaginative way) of her ideas and tried to draw something, itself that complements her particles of thoughts. It's just my ideas, and your description matches the questions I had about her. Comments shows that a lot of people relate to Lana, and I've also loved her songs since I were in my own hard time. She were wild and kind, and I could- sort of identify myself with her. I want to ask a question for you; How do you think about her? (I am not an native, so forgive me if I sound unpolite. XOXO)

you can never literally describe Lana with any word.. she's beyond greatness... in my opinion, my favorite performance of hers was in iTunes festival 2012.. National anthem, body electric and born to die... and many more..... she even sang it better than the actual album you can also search for it on KZbin it's just pure perfection with high quality.

People are so use to this super edited pop vocal style...they don't know what someone with unique and raw vocals sound like, so when they hear it they think it's 'bad' because it's just different. Over-editing of vocals in the music industry is a crying shame. Hearing raw, true performances are such a treasure even if a performance isn't technically perfect.
@estebanmarin83965 жыл бұрын
Yeah you’re goddamn right it’s raw, she’s going to need surgery after she ruptures her vocal chords. There are plenty of fantastic famous singers that actually SING.

This deserves at least one million views. I can't believe most people are still critical of her live singing. True, her intonation is something she still needs to work on, and she needs to experiment more with her upper belts, but other than that, her voice doesn't have many technical flaws, her range is decent ( her mid-range is sweet and her head voice is beautiful ), her vocal versatility is impressive and her breath support has improved tremendously. She can obviously sing.

This society teaches us standards and gives us immediately prejudice about things, so if you don't sound exactly technically perfect, you're not in, when there are many other things to consider. Emotions, tone, anxiety, personalisation, medium technique go to fuck off where you only look for perfection. But perfection is not supposed to give you a true artists, little flaws (as her) are
