There is something very special about Lana and her voice. I am 68 years of age and I find I have fallen in love with this woman, her sound, image and those rare qualities of mystery, mystique and longing for the past and those gone in our lives. She is suffering from deep melancholia, the many missing answers to many past questions, which I have solutions to share with her when we meet. At my age I have received all the answers and sometimes the need to share them frustrates me, why? because doing so brings me happiness. Lana I love you, but I love you in the right kinda way, not the silly fan worship of you, but the conversation of you and the love you give me with your voice and spirit. Love to you Lana, From Scotland UK.

6:16 Billie was really good here. I FELT her signing “videos games” deep in my soul. She can get so smoky raw on her low notes. I can just hear how much her voice has found its place in her soul, where the music lives and her passion for music churns and the notes she can run together and flip from one register. 🤯😯 Billie Eilish exudes a genuine energy when she performs. That includes just her singing in a room with her brother, and I’d assume best friend. They don’t even require words to know what the other is feeling. She really has been working hard on her singing her range is absolutely amazing.I hope she finds health and happiness, whatever that may mean for Billie. I hope she finds her comfort zone in the cut throat music 🎶 industry. I have no doubt she will.

There is a term called 'Passing the torch' moment. Usually in this kind of scenario, an industry legend, who has accomplished everything there is to be achieved, introduces a new breed of generational talent, who's promising and has the capability to continue that legacy. It felt like that. And a similar previous instance for me was when Joan Baez sang 'Diamonds and rust' with Lana Del Rey in a concert. Lana is a special breed of talent. She is special to me because a loved one introduced her music to me, who passed away a while ago. Whenever I miss that person, I listen to Lana. Eilish is popular among the younger generation. And I'm pretty sure that she is capable enough to continue this legacy.

When I was a child in middle school, the nights I couldn't sleep, I'd go onto Lana Del Rey's Instagram and she seemed to always post something those moments I lied awake. So I began to believe my insomniac nights were for a reason. Those days, it was very rare for Lana to share something. She was a mysterious woman, and whenever she did show herself to the world, it was as if you had the last bite of your favorite food and you just had to savor it. I'm 21 years old now, and I couldn't sleep, so I just opened Instagram in hopes of steering me away from staring at the ceiling, and I unexpectedly found myself crying to a clip of Lana Del Rey and Billie Eilish singing together that Lana posted. I knew then I had to watch the whole performance on KZbin. And just for a moment, I felt like a kid again. That same excitement of watching my favorite artist on screen make a once in a blue moon appearance resurfaced for a split second. And I began to realize time travel was real in all the ways no one expected it to be. For a dark time in my life, I felt numb. All the things I loved began to lose taste to me, not because they were tasteless, but because my tongue and every part of my body had the life from it escape, and one of those things I loved was Lana Del Rey. I was afraid I'd never be myself again. I'd never feel again. But I was so awfully wrong. I always knew I was deep down inside. And tonight, when I heard Video Games began to play, I cried. I cried like a child. My favorite song on Earth playing before me. I'm reminded of how beautiful life just is. As many people have already said, Lana has saved my life. But she saved that depressed 13 year old I once was, and still saves the 21 I now am. The 21 that had to carve her own path because she cannot rely on those she should call family, the 21 year old that has suffered so much because it's just her, living on her own, doing everything she can to be happy. The 21 year old that battles hard to get out of bed and go to work. And people ask me how I do it. How I go to work everyday, how I ride the bus, how much walking I do. And let me tell you, it's those moments where I have my headphones on, that save me from the pain. It's Lana's music that keeps me going. Whether it's Cinnamon Girl or an unreleased song, Because of You, her music keeps me going. It had kept me going all this time. So thank you Lana Del Rey. I don't know if you will read this. I don't know if anyone will. But I long to tell her how much she means to me one day. And how I finally figured out why I cry so much from her. Why I get so emotional. It's because, in this world of loneliness, of being misunderstood, a lady whose beautiful face I've never seen in person, or whose beautiful voice I've never heard in person, has touched my heart and soul more than the people I know in person did. And I love her, I love her so much, and she just needs to know how loved and special she is. We love you Lana Del Rey. I love you. One day, I'll tell you.

Yes my friend, someone is here and read your comment. I'm a 63 yr old woman and have been where you are. While I still carry some of the emotional scars and demons from my past, I've also experienced many joyful & beautiful moments throughout my life journey. Please remember everything in this world is temporary, and this season in your life too shall pass. I'm so happy you find some sense of peace and comfort in Lana's music . I do as well. Hang in my friend. Take care. Sending love,❤ hugs, and prayers🙏 for the healing of your heart. Love , Carmela in Connecticut 💞

as someone who’s 58 and has never been interested in Coachella, I’m crying and wish I was there watching this. Billy is becoming an incredible mature entertainer. I cannot wait to watch her continue to be iconic and go down in history. ❤

I think one of my favorite things about Billie was that she always was a mature entertainer. Even at like 16 and 17. I caught one of her sets at a festival and was just mesmerized.

@@davidlabarr yes, i should have phrased that differently- she has always been super mature - I agree ! I think it’s difficult to come up with the correct adjective because of how uniquely secure she is. It’s more than just maturity , it’s her level of authenticity i guess .

Ocean Eyes has such a Lana vibe to it, both lyrically and melodically. I would LOVE to hear Lana's cover of the song, but a proper one, official.

Lana always seems so loving, and billie even though an extremely talented and successful artist herself is looking at lana with such eagerness and respect. Such an amazing live duo, would've loved to be there.
