I can't believe this song was released 3 years ago! It feels like it was 3 months ago. I'm so grateful for the amount of albums/ songs/music, Lana has given us, especially if you add the unreleased/unofficial songs. And I'm just amazed by the amount of passion, inspiration and creativity this beautiful woman possesses. She is underappreciated, like many artists are during their life, but in time she will be seen as one of the best artists, singer, songwriter of this time. I am sure of it, her music tells a real story which is not that common among popular songs now. And it is of course absolutely beautiful and inspiring. Her songs often even feel nostalgic the first time you listen to them! The sound, melody, emotion, meaning, it's just absolutely perfect.

Lana's music saved me from depression once. Yes, her songs are depressing but you should know that when people are depressed, good words wouldn't mean a thing. It's just nice to feel that somewhere in this world, someone understands how it feels like to be sad. And you know what, sadness feels somehow beautiful especially when you're listening to LDR. You wouldn't need those drugs amd alcohol to keep up. Music is enough.

The disgruntled ramblings of a non-native transplant? She could've plantedd a flag in Los Angeles and claim it as hers. She could say she invented Hollywood and I woulda believed it. This is a curious backstep. I love Lana. But this is atypical. Which is fine. She's earned the right to experiment. The funny thing is: the man-child is basically the second person "you" in the song video games. Instead of bringing you a beer tho she's bringing a "talk" and by "talk" I mean a 14 minute song. And by 14 minutes of lecturing i mean a "talk" .. listening to this feels like getting dumped on a blue December day in LA. And if that happened, I'd cry like a baby. Lana would be the babe that every other girl gets compared to. I'm gonna listen again and see if I hear anything else.

A lot of people in the music industry, especially the era we’re living in, are here for the streams and numbers but don’t know what it takes to be a true artist, yet take up the title. It’s literally the first three letters. An artist is a combination of creative elements. Art is your whole being. You are soul, poetry, happiness and freedom. The true embodiment of a unique ethereal creative with a fulfilled vision. You’ve stayed true to yourself all these years and paved the way for that sadcore aesthetic which has widely been mimicked. I’m seeing you for the first time February 2020 and I’m dying to hear the voice that’s been singing to me for the last 8 years. I hold a lot of memories that are manifested through your music.
