@@ultraviolent4677 cant get over this song lately, the same vibe as plecebo 'follow the cops back home' so haunting, idk its not even sad, its melancholic and feels like the end of a movie, its not intense, its very lowkey and somehow that makes it even sadder like u are sad not because of something bad, but because of something good that ended

i have to listen to that placebo song. i checked them out after u mentioned them among ur fav artists a few weeks ago bc i didn't know them if i'm being honest and i really liked pure morning. and that description fits venice bitch perfectly. i think it's also the way how the song slowly builds up and gets more intense with time before kind of slowing down again and lasting for a very long time - that's kinda similar to how friendships/relationships can go imo because at first everything only seems to get better when ur really happy and all that but after u reach a certain peak everything just slowly loses its magic and slows down until ur basically at the point where it started. that's just my weird way of interpreting the song's structure tho lol i can totally understand if u think i'm crazy bc of that lol.

@@ultraviolent4677 placebo is like a religion for people with melancholic temperament u know like people with hearts that feel too much 🥹 their music is very emotional and deals with different dark social topics like for example if ur into melancholy u might like 'burger queen' 'follow the cops back home' if u like more rebellious vibes then u need 'rob the bank' 'post blue' some songs are really dark, like 'sleeping with ghosts' 'song to say goodbye' 'without you im nothing' if u like punk sound then its '36 degrees' 'days before u came' if u like pop sound its 'a million little pieces' 'the prodigal' i dont think ur weird or crazy at all, i actually totally agree with u and thats a very accurate and beautiful interpretation of the song structure 🥺 i think u are really smart and interesting person and if anybody call u 'crazy' then fck em lol and yes i agree, people start as strangers and end up strangers, thats like 99% of relationships and u must be strong enough to let people go and to end what needs to be ended 'Of course we will hurt each other. But this is the very condition of existence. To become spring, means accepting the risk of winter' - Antoine de Saint-Exupéry
