If Lana Turner hadn't died her hair blonde, and if she had continued dancing, she and Fred Astaire or she and Gene Kelly, might have been a dynamic duo. What a shame.

Yes, but then Ann Miller did not have Lana Turner's beauty. I think with more training Lana Turner dancing would have labeled good just like Rita Hayward. I think the studio wanted to market her for beauty. It worked.
