Honestly the artist who painted the Big Eyes series was so under appreciated, the movie and this song worked perfectly. Especially this song, I think if you look at the images that the artist made and turned that feeling you get when looking at them into a song, you'd get this. Both Margaret Keane's paintings and life story are so, so haunting is the only way I'd put it. The paintings are hauntingly beautiful, the eyes are so big and so dark, and you know, as they say, the eyes are the windows to the soul.

Lana's singing is just so dazzling here; very elegant and operatic. I feel like the tone and pacing of the whole Honeymoon album was originated from this song, they have a lot in common.
