Lana's music is not sad. It's just overwhelmingly powerful. So powerful that anyone listening to it can't seem to contain what they feel. It's a mix of emotions from which you can't seperate this from that. It's a mystery. And that's the beauty of it. Her music is not depressing, it just takes your mind away to an unknown destination and you just keep on walking until you're lost but still feel found. I just love her.

not your friend Why the hell shouldn’t Black Panther be nominated?
@notyourfriend-li7rq4 жыл бұрын
@@trinitycrites6754 it was nominated because of the black pride and because the viewers of the Oscars were drastically dropped. And nominating a marvel movie works quite well. That movie, apart from black support had nothing to offer in terms of cinematography and editing. It's a beautiful CGI movie and I like it as a fellow marvel fan. But you see, Oscars are known for picking up non-cgi-realistic-life defining movies. *As a person who knows the process behind every film being shot and worked upon, it's disheartening to see brilliant pieces like winter Soldier being ignored and this type being lauded* .As a film critic and student, the movie was heavily influenced with CGI which isn't a good thing, was slow, and was definitely not Oscar worthy. Even with nomination, it's not quite hard to understand that a movie like that will never win an Oscar. It was just used as a bait to catch viewers for the Oscars to generate revenue.

This song has such a powerful message. You need to find the person who loves your soul not WHAT YOU LOOK LIKE. They will love you for you. They will stand by you at your weakest moments in life. They will always have your back. We are all going to age, so we need to find the person who will be our cheerleader in life. Will always uplift us in times when we are too weak to uplift ourselves. The person that will go above and beyond to make sure you FEEL LOVE. It's easy to love someone when everything is going great, but will they be there and love you at your lowest point in life. We all are human, so we will have many highs and many lows in life. You want to find that person that will love you when your heart is broken and you can't love yourself at that moment. You need someone who can allow you to recover, and find happiness again. That is what a SOULMATE is. THAT IS WHAT Unconditional LOVE IS. No conditions for them to show you the LOVE that you deserve because they love who you are, NOT WHAT YOU LOOK LIKE. OUTSIDE BEAUTY WILL FADE, BUT INSIDE BEAUTY WILL STAY WITH YOU THE REST OF YOUR LIFE. INNER peace is the most beautiful thing that can happen to a person.

This song is more relevant right now than ever, for Lana. I've seen so many of her fans turn their backs on her and talk shit about her now that she's gained weight and is not longer what they call "beautiful." This song doesn't just address her lover, it's directed to society which immediately discards a woman as soon as she doesn't fit its rigid beauty standards.

So a lot of young 10 year olds who don't know anything will say that Lana's music is boring, or her videos are boring. They really aren't, her videos are so much different than any other artist, super creative and a work of art. Her songs are not all slow, and they really tell you story's and make you feel something. I respect her so much and what she does. She never wears anything skimpy or short ( like most artists) in which i find is weird because she is such a beautiful girl and she should embrace it. Yes she is depressed but that shouldn't make you hate her. Her voice is beautiful and she is such a talented girl. I will always love Lana 💗☁
