Lanai State Archery Axis Deer Hunt 2014

Self-filmed axis deer hunt on the island of Lanai. I was unsuccessful recovering my buck and it would have been "easy" to simply scrap the "less than perfect" moments. However, hunting is never perfect and is unforgiving. I never did embrace the "easy" route and I don't intend to with my films ever. My aim is to share the experience of hunting through my life and help protect and fight for it for future generations.

Rex panter yes it is land leased to the state of Hawaii from the company that owns lanai island. lanai island is mostly privately owned by a company Larry Ellison (oracle) owns.
