* This is herringbone weave, is a basic technique. It has so many variations, just change a little (wire size, number of loops, combination of beads, combination of textures ...) you have a lot of different products.
* I just give a specific way, you can change any details you want to make the product according to your liking. The same method, but just a little change will result in many different products.
The size and length of the wire used depends on the size of the stone. This pattern is suitable for stone with holes, especially spherical and round stones.
With the average stone size I usually do, about 1 - 1.5cm in diameter, Can use wire with diameter 0.6 - 0.8mm (22 gauge - 20 gauge ) length used 20 - 30cm ( 8 - 12 inch)
Should only wrap 3-5 rounds
* In the video I use :
20 gauge ( wire diameter 0.8mm ) : 22cm ( 9 inch)
Spherical stone with a diameter of 1.2cm ( 0.5 inch)
You can use it as pendant, earring, key hanger or decorate.

* Don't be discouraged if you don't succeed the first time, with the new template, I have to try many times before it succeeds, even if it's a simple one.

This is a great tutorial. Thank you for adding text and providing the size of the items used. And the close ups when you make a certain bend or wrap that is hard to see at times due to hands having to be in the way to perform them is great! I have this problem with a lot of micro-macrame tutorials that I’ve tried to follow. Some I just can’t see which thread went where because of hands off screen or covering up close. Thank you for taking the extra time to edit and add those into your videos.

I made a small scorpion and created a habitat for.it (a small jewelry box that I made into an aquarium /diorama and put.a hook on the back and hung it in my studio and it has gotten many compliments. I love the little wire scorpion

It took me maybe half a dozen or so goes at it but I managed to make some earrings. I think just takes time and practice to get the form right, then its easy. The ones I made turned out pretty good. look just like the one the video. Did mine a silver copper wire 22 gauge which is all I have. But they turned out nice

I used to round copper wire - magnet wire (type of wire not used to make jewelry, Its price is very cheap) . it's the only kind I found where I lived for many sizes. I do not know exactly what type it was, can be normal copper wire, it have plating layer, and not dark by time you can change to suit the material you have
