TheRidgehog hi John - yep it's a great location for the lancashire landing fly-in - had a great day. I think the beach is used fairly regularly by the local flyers too. Nice to have a spot where the usual complainers and nimbys don't ruin everyone's fun! Your pea bee flying vids look great - brilliant machine. You'll have to get over to the lancashire landing do next year for the record of the first sub-70 there :-)

Hey Dave! Yep thought of giving you a shout but it was all a bit last minute and conditions on the day were a bit on the 'sporty' side, particularly past the Wirral and Liverpool where we're forced to stay low due to airspace, so we didn't know if we'd get there! On the way back as soon as we were clear of the Liverpool airspace had to go up to 6000ft+ to get into smooth air for a rest! :-)
