How could Reading PA wind up on any list of desirable place to retire? US News obviously never went to Reading.

It was interesting they specifically call out Wyomissing area, which I agree with is great. But otherwise, I’m not entirely sure what their metrics are measuring.

Lancaster is beautiful. Farms, fields, and quaint towns. But, it's very quiet and boring. I imagine it would be a good place to grow old in . After living in Lancaster for a few years it would be a lot easier to die.
