I kept hearing that the DB’s were no good! Ok, so why then did we stay man to man the entire season! If you don’t have the athletes to cover in man to man than why aren’t you adjusting? The zone defense was created 50 years ago and teams use it when they lack the athleticism in the secondary!

Lance is a good man 👍 but unfortunately his teaching couldn't resonate with his players enough to get the best out of them. This was the worst Miami Hurricanes Defense I've ever seen in my life. Keeping it 100 the defense cost us a legit chance to compete for a national championship

With our offense, all we needed this season was a marginal, middle-of-the-pack defense and we go 11-1, probably win the ACC, and would be playing tomorrow in the playoffs at 12-1. Instead, we were absolutely horrific on defense and somehow got worse as the season went on.

Even Lance can’t be mad at this decision.. I mean that was that most brutal season to endure. It progressively got worse. Mediocre Offenses looked like Super Stars against us. Dawson had to change his play calling having to play catch-up.. Every player regressed on that side of the line. Bain, Mesidor, Barron, fighting on the sideline Confusion through out the entire game. Never adjusted the scheme.. Oh it was as irritating to watch it unfold before our eyes. 21 point fxxking lead wasn’t safe !! 21. He had to know it was coming. Ask me. That bowl game was his resignation letter. Thank you Mario. !
