Thanks for the video! Im having a problem with this same gearbox, mines still shoots with the switch on safe. It feels a little resistance but if you press good enough it just shoots. Any tips of what i should be looking or buying before i open it?

Where does the little red cable go inside the gearbox? I opened mine and it's just.. not connected to anything?

You might need to solder it back on to the microchip/electronic trigger unit.

4:22 that little washer at the top. You never show where it came from or where it goes

It's called a shim. One usually goes on top and on the bottom of each gear to space it from the gearbox.

Yes you can put a lancer tactical Gen 3 gearbox in a lancer tactical Gen 2. You can just search LT-M4GB-G3-SET on the lancer tactical website and you can buy a lancer tactical gen 3 gearbox for like $95. And then you will have better trigger response and a programmable Zion arms ETU and it will be wired to Dean's so you will be able to use 11.1 lipos.

It’s a mess because it fell apart when I opened it…. No you just not doing it properly. My guy watching the video you can see that you lifted the top shell away with the sector gears axle stuck in the bushing. Just push it through and you won’t have that problem
