Just finished watching this latest video of your progress and have been fascinated by your depth of knowledge about the car, the downer car, and the process of building it to competition specifications. Great to see the people in NZ who build these cars also and that they have many of the parts for new builds there made in house. Congratulations so far on your successes and breathing life into a legend. Excited to see the next episode.

Did the factory use a steel shell and glass clamshells like this monoqouce chassis I thought it was a tube chassis with all fiberglass body n clamshells be stronger the way you are doing it would love a o37 and a delta

Hi Alastair, the owner is still building the 037 slowly, but due to some life events it has been put on hold for some time. Unfortunately the X1/9 project will be on hold for quite some time as I moved countries with my wife, so am on the other side of the world from my beloved car. But I hope to get reunited with each other one day. Thankyou for the kinds words, I hope to see some life come back into this channel also!
