Hi Lexi! The palette is beautiful but I think I like the Givenchy one better. But what I really liked most were the lipstick colors and gloss. The gloss reminds me a bit of the one that Lisa Eldridge carries in her line too. Thank you for the video! Have a great day!

@@LexiJong Lexi, I’ve got this palette and I love it. The most shade I love is the brown one. Could you recommend any eyeshadows with the same quality as the brown one in this palette??? I’m 47yo and this type of eyeshadows don’t emphasize the texture on my eyelids. 🙏🏻❤️🙌

I loved the Lancôme lip collection. That Satin Matte finish is beautiful. I love the Valentino holiday blush. It’s reminiscent of a Lancôme shade I had in the nineties 😂 Thank you for the swatches and comparisons.

Loved your always super detailed honest video, dear Lexi, thank you!!!🤩🤩🤩🤩Lancome, so much eyeshadow i still have, maybe a nice gift, the lipgloss with glitter is sooo cute!!! Valentino highlighter, i still swimm in highlighters, however their blushes: sooooo good!!!!! I have shade 2 and 8, love them, really use them, i want makeup not to declutter but really use! Don't know about shade 4 yet, if i would add another coral sort of blush, i think 06. From the cool toned, shades 1 and 3 are on my wishlist! I just love this formula, it's taking a BK 109, dip it into the product and on the face, and ready. Foolproof stuff, these Valentino blushes, i do not have the illusion they all fit me, the 3 might be a bit cool, but sooo beautiful, maybe December/January when i am my most pale. These are also Andrea Ali's favs, i saw a video or an Insta video from her a while ago. Loved this, and wow, so many eye swatches, arm swatches, it's always so good and so special to watch your video's, thanks Lexi!!!😘😘😘😘

I think I’m passing on the palette, even though it’s beautiful. I wish the 2 pinks were not in there-or that they’d been much cooler. They are too similar to last year’s shades. I wish we had more cool shades like the taupe. I got the Louvre palette during a sale online at one of the dept stores early this year. If this is still around to go on sale, I’ll buy it for the taupe and the blue alone! (But I also ordered the Givenchy palette, so I’ve got these tones if it sells out quickly) I have loved the Lancôme soft matte lip formula ever since I tried it. I have several. It is comfortable and looks great! I’ve not tried the drama matte formula…that color is beautiful on you, though. I’m a warm olive…but because of the olive, I can pull off certain cool tones for some reason. I just don’t understand why everything seems so warm lately…lipsticks/blushes/shadows. It’s not just special edition stuff-it’s permanent lines. I don’t usually notice because I mostly go for warms, tbh. My favorite cool mauve lipstick went bad and the shade is discontinued. I need a very cool mauve for the winter, but I can’t find one to save my life from Hermes, Dior, or Guerlain. What is happening??!!! Why is everything so warm?

Same. I got the Louvre palette for half price at the Macy's sale earlier this year. I'm skipping this one - some of the shades are too warm, plus I wouldn't get that much wear out of the blue. I'm going for the Charlotte Tilbury holiday palette instead. Also: I swatched the Tarte holiday 3-pan in person at Sephora yesterday, & it is surprisingly amazing! Fantastic range of colors for the price. I'm going to be gifting that puppy for sure!🎁💄💅

I agree - if this goes on sale like last year's, then it's worth picking up. I also think things have just been too warm recently and I don't recall this always being the case years ago. Does Dior Rose Blues work for you or is it too pink? It's more berry than mauve.

Hi Lexi ! Thank you for investing in these new items. I was really looking forward to the Valentino holiday collection - and though I like the packaging, I am disappointed that the blush is a repeat shade (I had it and declutterred it because it’s too deep on me) and that the highlighter is yellow gold - I think Valentino could have put more effort into this collection. With respect to the Lancôme collection, I am only really tempted by the French Blush lip shade. Thanks again. Have a great day.

Well, I have added that soft matte to my list, as a note, not this shade, tho. I feel like it is a French makeup staple to have warm lips for some reason. We can keep waiting but cool tones just won't become a thing. Tempted by the sprakly lipgloss especially if it really has both silver and gold glitters?... Hi Lexi, love the celestial theme and packaging of the Lancome palette. Those pans are the size of face products and you'll never run out! Can the rosier shades in there be used as blush or blush topper....just wondering. If you already covered that I apologize but I'm multitasking. The Valentino packaging is stunning, yet I agree they could have amped up the offering with a new blush shade and a different shade of the highlighter. Everything is super pretty on you and I don't think we've seen the last of the holiday drops as I'm sure there will be some more. Tis the season to entice us to spend lol. 😅❤

I don't feel that Lancôme in general gets much KZbin attention, so it was very interesting to see their holiday offerings. The motif throughout is pretty, as is the shadow palette, but when you compared the shadows with the Givenchy, the Givenchy wins by a landslide. Valentino Holiday was a bit halfhearted, and a pass for me. Thank you for these comparisons, Lexi!

Oo idk why i like this one so much but i do. Is the formula the really slippy silky and powdery texture that they had for a while or a more classic eyeshadow texture. I preferred their older formula compared to the really slippery one.

I was pretty sure that was #4 in the Valentino blush when u posted it. They really need to start saying the shades online because if people have it like me they probably would have been upset. I just cant believe how different the blush looks on me then it does you. It's definitely not deep or peachy on me and i kinda wish it was. I am gonna skip the Lancome i think and stick with the Givenchy instead, i just think ill get more use out of the Givenchy and i really like the formula. Still waiting patiently for the liquid Givenchy highlight it seems like its been awhile sense theu lanched in the UK u would think they would be here by now. Lancôme. It’s pretty but I see glitter. I can’t do it sadly, my eyes are too sensitive. Darn. The lipstick are pretty and the gloss. That orange shade is so pretty. I wish the Valentino had a different color blush, Aldo between the blush and the eye to cheek
