I always thought the dinosaur sounds in the Jurassic films worked with the land before time designs . Especially cause there owned by the same company.

Well in some later Land Before Time Movies, JP sounds are actually used. One prime example I can think of, off the top of my head but I'm sure there's more, is some T-Rex sounds being used for the Horned Sharptooth/Carnotaurus in the latest movie. More specifically, the scene where Etta poked her head up and found the group cornered by it in a cave.
