Step 2. Use old remote Lock & Unlock
Step 3. Insert the key turn the key from Lock to On then turn it back to Lock 20 times (Some LC100 need turn from ACC to On then back to ACC 20 times)
if successful the indicators will flashing 20 times.
after indicators stop flash then you can press each of your the new remote to pair.
Step 4. Turn the key 2 times from Lock to On then finish.
If you don’t have a old remote work, skip first two steps, unplug the negative from your battery for at least 30s.
reconnect it back then start from step 3 in about 10 seconds

Thank you very much. I have a 2003 model and I had to resort to the take the negative terminal off method despite having the original damaged remote. The first method wouldn't even recognise the original or the replacement. Plus I had to use the Lock to On x 20, not the ACC to On x 20. Also make sure you have your radio PIN ready if you take the negative battery terminal off. Cheers

This worked like a champ on my 2005 Corolla Ascent. No remote given with car when I bought it. Disconnect battery method worked. Awesome !

Worked perfectly for a 2005 Corolla in Australia. I did this method about 10 months ago, but the other day, the remote stopped working. No idea why. I decided to go through this method again, and it worked. Thanks again.

I have LC100 VX and it das not work, my key comes with 2 button and even when door is open will not lock. Maybe only work for some models, my dash looks same as your and is 5sp auto but key is like on Lexus LX470 but with 2 buttons.

You need to confirm with remote key sales. It must on the same radio frequency

It is made for Japan market I guess and it say limited. Key comes with flat body and groove on the middle not like on Hilux. I will appreciate any help.
