I highly recommend you get set of 3/8" wobble extensions. They make this and many other tasks where a socket is required in a tight spot much easier. I got mine here: amzn.to/33OavBm
Also, pick up a set of magnetic spark plug sockets. You will thank me. With engines like this the typical spark plug socket with a rubber boot will not work and get stuck in the valley. Here is the set that I use: amzn.to/3gdTQKp

Good video about the wires, although the wires easily go almost 3 times an aftermarket set, so it's really a matter of going through 3 aftermarket replacements vs one replacement in maybe in 8 or 9 years.

You’d be surprised. The OEM wires are not all that much more.

@@NKPGarage these days I've checked the price online and it goes from $164 to $200 ish. NGKs are around $60

@@ehouli77 Seems about right. I guess for me the small increase in cost is worth the OEM Toyota parts, but even if you go with NGK, that is better than 10-20yr old ignition wires.

I was trying to do this for like a week but couldn't figure it out...I guess it was because mine was diesel or something. Oh well... I made it work. When replacing these it's a good idea to use some dielectric grease on the tips as well as the boots so that next time they can pull out easily as well as prevent corrosion. ;-)

A diesel :-) I see what you did there ;) Dielectric grease is always a good idea when installing spark plugs on any motor. You want to put it on the spark plug boot end of the plug. And then you want to put anti-seize on the spark plug threads.
