This is beautiful, so glad to see this rare and wonderful song with the lyrics! I agree with Piotr's assessment that it's the same Wansborough arrangement that's been edited for this Imperial version. Hope I'm not overstepping with my reading of your video description...it is amazing that you hunted for this so carefully. I am confident that it will be a prized & loved addition to your friend's collection :-))

I am grateful that you like this one. I've come to know it is as rare as it is wonderful. You didn't overstep at all. In fact, consider your understanding, to be precise. It's not wandering alone either...😊.... it's Among some Souvenirs with other rolls that Mr. Wansborough was familiar with.

This is still the Harold Wansborough arrangement! It's been edited by cook though because the intro is different xD I have the original QRS roll, it's coming out soon I think, maybe next monday? Great waltz I will say, the arrangement is very nice, especially considering the exemplary use of marimba embellishing which I find really difficult to like in a roll unless done by a master like Cook or Wansborough.

@@PiotrBarcz I appreciate your information! I figured it was mainly and mostly the Wansborough arrangement with the typical Imperial roll changes. It's a pretty waltz and won't we all be even better off once you're able to make available the Wansborough roll! Out of obscurity and into the public once again!

@PiotrBarcz I'm really giving some thought to you cutting Lee Sims Lonesome & Sorry roll. It's one of my very very arrangements he ever made. My copy is good and I've posted it, but the roll is brittle. Its US Roll 43803. Do you know if there's a scan already of it?
