Danny if I only had one I would want the box blade. I can do a lot more with the box blade.

If they where a little bit closer I would love to drop by and help them out on some things. They sure could use a tractor. It's makes me tired watching them work that hard. God Bless!

Sir, I’m a seasoned tractor operator, and this is the best explanation of how the land plane functions, how to set up the tractor, and how to operate it. We’ll done. Scott, Vass, NC

I am wondering if adjusting the right side to cut a touch deeper than the left might help in putting a crown in a road, parts are concave instead of convex. I have a mile and a half of driveway and private road I need to repair after the spring thaw. I'm planning to use an offset rear grader blade to try to move some material from the edges of the road, then using a land plane to smooth it all out. Love the scripture reference at the end. God Bless.

Yes sir, Mr. Frank adjust approx. 1/2 on one side and work from there see if you want more or less. Kinda depends on size of the rock on the drive what height works best. Thanks & God Bless!

Clutch or hydro, it doesn’t matter which you have, but the tractor will be much happier if you choose your gear and speed, rev the engine and then drop the implement on the move. Just my two cents on how to make a tractor last for decades.

Maybe I need to make a video about that. 😄

Hi, great videos. I just bought the exact same tractor, never owned a tractor before and not really sure I needed to buy one. I got a package with the front loader, pallet forks, 5' Titan brush hog and a 20' 14k gvw trailer. I have been looking for one of these land planes, nobody here in central FL has one, I may have to come up your way to find one.

Hello Outdrzman, I've had a tractor all my life including as a kid my dad always had a tractor and I will be the first to say I love this tractor. The only downside being a 26 HP is when bushhogging it's a little under powered in think grass. As per the landplane I had to drive 150 miles into Mississippi at the time to get this one. I really wanted a land plan from everything attachments (where I ordered my landscape rake from) but they had such a back order at the time. I think you're going to love it this tractor.

Hey there. I live down the road in Flora. Great to find your channel. You wouldn't consider renting that land plane out would you? Sounds like a good side hustle. I really don't want to spend that kind of money without seeing how it does on my gravel drive.

Mornin. If i could offer some advice, Drop those Scarifiers the get the fines ripped up and mixed in with the stone. And add a little pre load on that top link to keep the rear blade on the ground. Also "GS" means grading scraper not land plane ;)

Thanks for the advise, but if I drop them Scarifiers on this driveway I will have a big big mess. It's big chucks of concrete and asphalt under this drive. Thanks Again Though. God Bless!

I live in a mountainous area in Virginia. My driveway is probably 2000' long from level, to downhill, to uphill with a steep grade. The drive way is probably 30 yrs old with alot of buried gravel as it was graveled years ago. It is still in good shape with some areas showing no gravel and low with rain puddles. The steepest area is grown over with grass, but the gravel is there. I am trying to decide between the box grader or the land plane. I don't know it the land plane can carry the gravel up on the steep grade as good as maybe a box grader. Can anyone advise?
@papawsplace2 жыл бұрын
If you're referring to pulling graved from one spot to another, I would get a box blade. If you are meaning pull the gravel up out of the soil ether one will work as long as you purchase one with teeth/shanks that you can lower to break the gravel loose, up out of the ground. Just make sure witch ever one you get, get one with teeth/shanks. The land plane is not good if you need to move dirt and/or gravel from one place to another.
