Another great video Sam. I have a land clearing project coming up and you convinced me that a grapple is a must have attachment. I hope that the ground dries up quickly for you.

LandPride 60 inch has the lower cross bar. Love it. You must consider total weight of the grapple you choose based on your machine capability.

I made two more joints on my grapple as the other ones kept breaking on this grapple. Also made bolt on extensions for the upper tines so I could pick up smaller material such as brush

Nice mods! I guess if they were built better from the factory, they'd cost more 🤔

Great videos, your going to drop a log had dieing. Congratulations of your subscriber growth and look forward to watching the channel grow. I’m here I n Ashtabula county so your struggles with weather I can truly relate to.

There is a trade off if you get another heavier built grapple. "Weight " the extra pipe at the bottom racks is a fair compromise and you end up with still fairly light implement. Great video 👍

It's amazing how strong the small tractors are! I have the L3301 with the same grapple and it's a HORSE for sure! Great video!

Yes! It always surprises me and I don't know how I lived without one before! Really love that grapple 😁👍

Thanks for the video. Your slip up reminded me of when I was dealing cards. I needed an ace but instead I pinched off a deuce.

I didn't know that the grapple is also a root rake. That will really come in handy while cleaning up that yard.

The little yellow box on the back of your tractor is cute but does it come in any other colors? I think a bold cobalt would look gorgeous with that firry orange of the tractor. Don’t worry about accessorizing too. I’d add a few more popping accent accessories to really bring it alive. This tractor has so much potential. I hope to see you at fashion week in Paris next fall with your tractor. It deserves the attention.

Hi I have Kubota tractor 2610 with the 60 inch grapple I’m a tree climber and have lifted many logs it works great I’m so happy with kubota and landpride grapple it’s been almost 2 years now I should have bought it years ago😊
@samsdoinstuff Жыл бұрын
Definitely one of the best attachments for tree work. No question. Glad to hear you feel the same! And thanks for watching and contributing ❤️

I also have a BX with a Land Pride grapple. Bought them both 7 years ago and I have used and abused both with no problems. My grapple is a 40" and has 6 tines like your 54". I believe that is why I have never bent one. They are closer together. I have had logs ripped out of them and carried so much weight the back tires were bouncing off the ground, even with my counter weight on the 3 pt. For anyone with a compact looking for a grapple, I would highly recommend the 40" Land Pride. The tractor will determine the max you can manipulate, not the grapple size.

That's great to hear. I have not had any problems since I reinforced mine. Having a grapple is the best 😁👍

Really good demo and info, I’m thinking of picking a grapple up this summer… Question, what is the brand of your canopy?

Did your tractor come with a third function kit or did you install it and if separate how expensive was it?
@samsdoinstuff2 жыл бұрын
I had the third function kit installed by the dealer when I got the grapple. I'm pretty sure the whole bill was roughly $2,500. It's a Land Pride 3rd function and it works well.

I came to ask if youve tried it with rocks but then noticed the other commenters comment that he bent his on rocks. I want to move brush but also play around with some rocks. Ive seen videos of the deere option handling rocks no problem but looks like i will pass on this option from Kubota and look elsewhere.
@samsdoinstuff Жыл бұрын
I think I'd have to be extremely careful if I were using the Landpride grapple to pick up large rocks. It could probably be done, but I'd be afraid of bending one of those bottom teeth again.

I use my grapple on stone all the time and log 3 days a week on a B3301 never bent my land pride grapple
@midcoasttractorservice9182 Жыл бұрын
I wouldn't be surprised if you dont bend the teeth on the clamp as well. I bought the Top dog Grapple from RK. I am not easy on it and the only thing I have done was pull out a zerk fitting tryind to lube it.
@samsdoinstuff Жыл бұрын
If I did it again, I'd buy a wicked grapple from Everything Attachments
@midcoasttractorservice9182 Жыл бұрын
@@samsdoinstuff To be completely honest i only bought it because i had enough money on my credit card and they had one lol but in the end i feel it is overbuilt and people are sleeping on it! It is basically what that new tractor is selling with a few changes.

EA is still way behind in production …..I checked with them months ago and never got a reply back! Granted they use AR450 steel while the land pride grapple uses AR400 …still strong!
@samsdoinstuff Жыл бұрын
I'm good now that I have the reinforced bottom teeth. I think as long as you have a grapple (no matter what brand) you're a happy "tractorer"
@markcole6475 Жыл бұрын
@@samsdoinstuff right on! Using equipment properly will help also. I see so many people using a grapple with the top link extended half way out pushing against a tree or using it like a bulldozer! Or clamping too large of a rock on one end of the grapple cause the lot link to twist. I’ll be looking into reinforcing the bottom tines on my grapple also….thanks for the tip
