Can you do some videos on the business aspect of permaculture? Like how you acquire clients and how to convince and sellf them the idea of permaculture.

I think it's definitely not about convincing anybody to do anything. It's about inspiring people to do what they always dreamt to do and finding people who resonate with your ideas. These days with the help of social media platforms (KZbin is the best in my opinion) it's easier than ever to build a personal brand. Some people also search for help/services on Facebook groups.

@granvisio I understand. But many people aren't familiar with permaculture. And as a designer often times it's your job to convince Them
@ReinaPerez-l3q9 ай бұрын
@@ShayanGivehchian You're using the wrong words that determine your mentality. Its not convincing its educating. You're not trying to convince, You're trying to educate and teach the who, what, where, when, why and how. That's the "secret" of successful marketing that those self help books and KZbin videos don't teach. Convincing is for bad car salesman. Educating is for successful marketing Salesforce

In the Czech Republic this would require a lot of paperwork to fill in request to change the purpose of a field, even hydrology approval would be needed. But I'd like to do it if the result brings joy

Yes, permits are always the first step, but it's certainly worth trying and implementing :)

Ahoj, zajímá mě to. Řešil jsi v ČR něco podobného? Změnu z pole na agroles nebo permakulturni zahradu?
@HongThaiHonzaLe9 ай бұрын
@HongThaiHonzaLe9 ай бұрын

what software are you using? I need to design my land and I cant find any good software
@granvisio2 ай бұрын
Google Earth Pro Desktop is my number 1 tool because I can measure everything on the land. Once I have measurements I can screenshot the satellite map from Google Earth and use it in other software to draw the design features. I recommend Canva - because it is the easiest to use.

How Is this better than current farming crop yields?
@granvisio Жыл бұрын
Permaculture farm design is usually better than conventional farming practices because the first step is to always regenerate the land. So, you first reduce and combat soil degradation and erosion, then introduce strategies to cope with drought as much as possible and then minimize the risks of catastrophic weather events like wildfires. The side effects are increased biodiversity and overall resilience of the system to changing weather conditions. In contrast on conventional crop field, you have usually one or two species, no strategies to account for topsoil loss resulting from ploughing, degraded soil and no mechanisms to deal with droughts (use of wells only instead of increasing water storage capacity in soil). Catastrophic weather events could be reduced on conventional fields by planting windbreak and firebreak species in appropriate places, and the list goes on and on...

Looks like a lot of land that's being wasted
@magnusthered963510 ай бұрын
Permaculture is a more sustainable way to grow crops and food, don’t need things like pesticides, and chemical fertilizers, which can hurt and damage local wildlife, it increases soil health so it’s not fucked up like what modern agriculture does, hell. If the land was just a food forest it would be good, but having a variety is better. I recommend looking into it more, as well as food forests and what some people are able to do and grow in a limited space.
