Hi Bundy, maybe i missed it. But did you ever know who owned the car and abandoned it? Did you ever find papers on it or anything?

Hi Christopher, no I never found the details or papers. At the time we got permission from the farmer to remove it, but I don’t have any contact details anymore. Since then I have verified that the vehicle was shipped to SA in July 1955 and sold by the then dealership in Durban.
