The rebuild of my Land Rover defender.
I did this project a few years ago now, but I recently recovered some pictures from an old broken laptop and which I thought where gone.
So I put them together in this clip.
Part 2 coming soon hopefully.

I know what you are saying. And yes you are most probably right. But I preferred the look unpainted at the time. If I was building something to a standard speck I would definitely paint it.

I've seen vent panels on the wings to, I presume let hot air out from the engine compartment but this has air intakes to, I presume "now" for cooler air to reach the engine carburetor or throttle body (Fuel Injection)? Maybe they should have made it to do both, pipe air to the engine and let hot air escape? I had a concept that air drawn through the radiator would also (then normal means) be pulled by partial vacuum to an exhaust grate using a NACA duct on each fender (wing). ;-)

Thank you for your kind words and taking the time to watch 😍 Definitely a labour of love. I dread to think how many hours I spent rebuilding this.

NIB thanks man, I don’t do anything with cars anymore to be honest. But found the pictures on an old laptop and thought I’d upload them as people who are in to them like this kind of thing. I should start doing climbing or exploring video’s really.

NIB thanks mate. I just don’t have the time for them anymore. This took a around a year to complete working on it pretty much every evening and weekend. They just took over my life for a couple of years. Not to mention exploring \ climbing is a much cheaper hobby.

Thank-you man. They are pretty easy once you know them. If I can do it, anyone can, for me most of it is self taught along the way.
