@algy3289 Tank goes it at 5:30 in part 1 Build cost about £5k in parts.
@algy328914 жыл бұрын
Wow thats quite amazing. 2 days! Im interested in knowing how much it would cost to buy the parts. Id love to do this maybe someday. Is quite an insparation to see you build it. Imagine it would take me alot longer to build. I was just wondering, I didnt quite notice the fuel tank. I dont know my land rovers, was just curious to know when it was put back in. Ill have a look again at the video.

Nice job, a question. Do you think a 2009 2.4 110 dcpu that roll-over makes sense to re-built it. Chasis, engine and gear-box seem's are in good shape. This model and make are extremelly expensive in my country, i'd appreciate if you can inform or if you can suggest cheap body spares, regards, RG

Dale Drake they do in America, because they were only released for three years, and you have to wait 25 years for import to be legal. Also, defenders in America are in 200% better condition, even if you do import one from another country. In fact some People if they are able to acquire an imported Land Rover illegally buy the deed from a totaled rover for about 20,000 dollars to fake US certification. However, you can always tell a US 90 or 110 from an imported one, ours have on the back bumper their build number, for 90’s it goes from 1-6000 and for 110’s less than 1000 were imported, some say only 600. They have just reached 25 years in age making them legal to import, however, Britain’s defenders are in terrible condish in contrast to ours. Because they were actually used for their purpose there.

The vents on the wings, are they just for hot air to escape or do they serve another purpose? The fuel tank is under the drivers feet(?) and seat so there's open space under the passengers side? The reason is I don't like unused spaces, especially if they could be useful (tool storage box?). ;-)

Nicolas Estevez in the uk you can buy a galvanised chassis for about £2500, then buy the rest when you need them to spread out the cost
@somebloke55656 жыл бұрын
Another one! What is it about coiler-era Land-rovers? Where no matter how you try, they look a bit mincing, and that's without the 'required' big-wheels and chequer-plate. Even before they get the snorkel, most end up looking like they fell off a fairground roundabout. Somebody blow him a kiss!
