actually the wheel did not come off due to the speed bump but actually the axle had melted from the friction of it spinning so fast so lego pieces actually melted, this can be stopped by applying some sort of lubricant to the axle and the connection

Fun fact: The Defender name has only existed since 1990. The very first prototype had a center-mounted steering wheel. All Defenders are made with aluminum skin, thanks to post-WWII steel supply shortages. It's the Queen's vehicle of choice when she's not in a limo.

Maybe do this more often but with some custom suspension builds too. And maybe get a more dedicated slow mo camera since slowing the footage down makes it way choppier and there is less detail. Any iPhone will do fine, or a Samsung if you want slower footage but at the cost of quality.

THIS is actually a great example of why you should NOT slow down when driving over a speed bump smaller than a certain size. You will just make the bumb feel much more intense when closing in on the car's suspensions' own frequency. Especially train crossings should be crossed with normal speed.

If you put an engine it would go smoother, the wheels is slowing down the car and adding friction when hitting the bump and the rope is not helping if you don’t have an engine

En la vida real puedes joder tu suspensión, rotulas, brazos y también tus llantas ya que al deformarse muy rápido se genera una presión excesiva dentro de la llanta que puede hacer que se generen “bolas” por fuera de la llanta; en el caso del amortiguador este puede reventarse y derramar todo el líquido que tiene al tener que amortiguar un golpe de manera tan rapida

The problem is that lego cars are too light, especially the unmotorized ones, plus no weight of driver, passengers, cargo, etc. They could bounce a lot over bumps. Plus the bumps aren't even straight to begin with in this demonstration. Not a good simulation for the real world.

They bounce cos there's no oil in the dampers or no dampers at all. The weight won't affect the bounce

That thing has "suspensions" in it. Weight still matters. If it's 50kg would you think it would bounce that high...There's no motor and cargo and passenger in that kind of vehicles. Using a vehicle with just the shell to do real world testing is not ideal. And don't ignore my point that the bumps aren't even straight to begin with...definitely make a difference.
