just had do it again,starter motor died,disconect battery,remove starter,fit new one ,reconect battery ,and imobilised again,3 loud horns and flash indicators,got my eka code out,watch this again ,as forgot ,and now disco fixed,thanks for the helpfull video,time windows and steps can be bit stange ,if never done it before ,but not to bad of a job,i bought the nanocom as well now ,as my snapon verus and topdon,not really do much on the disco,seems different software setup,well pleased now,i did the same ,put the numbers on the door,works well

Had 2 codes 1 Radio code and 1 EKA code, tried this numerous times and failed! Rang Land Rover HQ in Coventry and a lady told me there are 3 codes, Radio code Ignition code & Immobilizer code after receiving all 3 we realized we were using the ignition code! Returned to the vehicle armed with the Immobilizer code and Boom it worked first time. Tip to all make sure you have the IMMOBILIZER CODE!! Happy Days - Happy Motoring. @@chrispinemmweemba6189 Hi we're in the UK and I phoned Land Rover HQ in Coventry, needed to prove we owned the vehicle by sending a picture of log book in our name and a picture of the owners driving license. Within an hour she sent us the 3 codes. As I said make sure you get the immobilizer code. Unfortunately without these codes no-one can help. Some garages/dealerships may charge you so go directly to LR and you should get them for free! Hope this helps:-)

Thanks for the video. Fortunately, I never had to find my EKA code. I had the red alarm indicator light flashing slow and the hazards blinking for a while, but all I had to do was lock and unlock the truck a couple times and then the light flashed super fast and I did as the manual suggested by putting key into position II and it started!! Thanks man!

just had to do this tonight ,in works car park,car gone mad,alarm keep going off,thought some one had tried to steal it ,while at work,got missus to give me the code ,on the imob card,at home ,then watch this vid ,write down key steps,then go for it ,got it done ,drive home from work,disco 2 ,td5 diesel ,auto ,thanks for vid,not sure why car lost its code,but it did,my local landrover dealer said bring logbook,photo id ,and reg car,can have the code free,but that was the next day ,as had to get there some how,not do it over the phone

Well we got EKA code from heritage land rover tried in vain tonput it in but no go...friend of mine turned up with vast experience of land rover probs.was there 5mns changed Transponder...BINGO it started on the button....No Code put in nothing....👍👏👏👏👏👏👏

Bit late but might help others. Ring a Land Rover dealership in the UK. With log book/Vin details and possibly proof of ownership. They CAN get the code. I did it from Germany.

Hello David, With the English manual in hand I interpreted “all doors must be closed” as “all doors must be locked” before I started with de procedure to enter the EKA. So, all doors are locked! But now I can not initiate the procedure with the 5 seconds in the unlock position. Is there anything I can do now?? With the key I can not unlock the door. Turning the key has no effect what so ever on neither the door lock nor the dashboard anti-theft indicator. Please help me out. Regards Nick Waringa (from Holland)

The micro switch in your door lock is probably not working so you may need to replace your door lock.

Same here - I’ve had to do this once in the past and it worked. After flat battery charged - and needing to use this procedure again… I can’t get the light signal to start inputting the code after turning door key to right and holding for 5 secs… proper twarse.

@@JaybeeDefianceThis was on a project I picked up. But I think it may have been sabotaged to keep it from starting since the windows work on all doors except the drivers. Did a compression test and the drivers cylinders all came out low.

You should only use the key to unlock the door if the remote is damaged or has a flat battery in it.
