Hi, I have replaced the near side rear bearing, to say the least, it was a nightmare, this being down to not having the special tool that Land rover garages have ...have watched your video (excellent, one might add), you motioned you do not have the Land rover jig either, The part where you pulling the hub out of the bearing with the axle yoke still attached is not clear! ...can one ask what jig you have used, perhaps a better picture of this would be great ...no doubt, there will be other's over here in the UK that would seriously benefit from this, so, any chance of more detail? ...again, thank you for sharing your method of removal ...Regards Norm's

Hello , is there easy way to change the rear bearing hub ? I though it's an easy job to do it !! Thank you
@JonCianci127 жыл бұрын
ksasbr107 the hardest part of this job is pressing out and in of the respective bearing and reassembling the park brake, if your not in a hurry, it's not very hard.

Hi, how big is your presse? I've seen claims that a 30 tonnes is needed, and some that it takes a 50 tonnes
@JonCianci127 жыл бұрын
Torbjörn Lindh I think mine is about 10 ton. it broke free reasonably easily
@torbjornlindh51087 жыл бұрын
Jon C Thanks! I tried it with my 10 ton press, with the same puller tool you used for the collar, and it all worked out fine. It was close, but it worked. Thanks for this great video!

With the size of your tools looks like you repair excavators.

dude. around 7:40, not once is there video shown to take out the ring that covers that cable and not to mention the audio is barely hearable. don't upload videos that have no help or steps to fix something like this.
