Excellent ! Road Tar - That's what mud flaps are for, they really DO protect the sides of the car from road tar - I would never have a car without mud flaps. By the way - parked at the end of my road this evening (Bicester) is a very nice Discovery with a 4-wheeled caravan. A very nice Disco 4, I thought. But no - it was actually a Disco 3 that had obviously been "PowerfulUK-ised" - Rear lights were the D4 red surround, Chrome finish grill front with gloss black underneath, chrome fog light surrounds, chrome mirror covers, wind deflector set... That's all I could see. I hope he also got the spare wheel theft protector (I would) and the LED light options (I would). It looked absolutely superb and definately looked 10 years or more yonger than it is (it had an 03 plate). So - these modifications you do really DO look the job. It made an 18 year old Disco look absolutely superb and at least 10 or more years younger than it really is. If the owner is looking here - you have done a superb job! Yes - I am hoping to change my "poor man's Land Rover" (an X-Trail Mk.II) for a late Disco 4 if I can get the cash together, so I am looking at every Disco I see - and this one was absolutely superb for an 18-yera old vehicle. Congratulations to the owner.

as discussed with Simon by email, I wanted these to cover rusty wheel arches, they arrived today and were very easy to fit, you guys make it look hard !! They make my car much much better, only one criticism, I would buy another set off you if you made them just half an inch wider to cover the whole of the lip !!

Hi Ian - I will feed this back to Julian and lets see what other comments we get.... glad to see it was easier than we made it look ! That vinyl is very forgiving and easy to work with especially on thin strips.

So Simon, how about getting Julian to make me up a set that covers the whole edge, without the raised centre bit ? I like the idea, but for my F2, I think a deeper, plain matte black decal would work better. 👍

Monster service in the USA make a wide arch kit that’ll look great on that I think. A bit expensive though but they do suit the lr2

I have read somewhere that the official Range Rover Evoke wheel arch trim will fit the Freelanderr 2, I don't know if this is true or not.
