There is a place on the west coast, a couple of hours from here, I head to every summer, set up camp and fish for mackerel..Get the awning out, set up the camp chairs, get the fire pit going and eat fresh fish with bread and salad and drop of good wine as the sun sets down over the isle of Skye... The fact that I'm writing this sat at my computer as the rain lashes the window is slightly depressing - so thanks for that!

I’m still a little confused as to why the Japanese seem to own Aussie manufactured Maxtrax and the Aussie owns old style recovery boards... loving your vids.

Good question 😉 I've owned Maxtrax and similar over the years and I much prefer the heavy duty waffle board / bridging ladder type recovery boards. Far stronger, load rated, they don't float away in water. Only slightly heavier than plastic or aluminium.

@@leighdearle5965 Thanks! I've only had experience with Maxtrax and Treds, oh and when I was a teenager, I've used carpet, seat cushions and a car bonnet as a recovery board when money was a little tighter. I'll have to try the waffle style ones one day.

Absolutely 😜 It was much more so in Korea. Everything must be perfect and matching. There's not much real offroad here so the cars stay in very good condition 😉
