I really enjoyed your Japan series. Wishing to visit one day. I agree, the bad thing about traveling/living in other countries is leaving friends. I don’t like it either. The distance and time only makes it more and more difficult to reconnect. Best wishes in your travel. Looking forward to seeing what new discoveries you bring us.

In Japan, when the police come to speak with you, they park in a PARKING SPOT. In the US they block the road & traffic, come with 6 other squad cars, firearms pulled and in their hands yelling "get out of your vehicle!" but the US is the freest country in the whole world 😂
@jamesb84674 жыл бұрын
Ahh yes, the illusion of freedom.
@badgerpa94 жыл бұрын
I have never experienced that, but I try not to break the law, except speeding I need cruise control for that. All of my interactions with police have been good but I do not lie that there is no way I was not going over the speed limit. When I lived in high crime areas I was always happy to stop and answer questions because cars were stolen daily and if mine was stolen I wanted them caught. After about 20 car thief arrests there was more traffic stops at all and no more stolen cars in the area. Maybe look at your life and be honest about what you need to do to be a member of society and no one will come up with guns drawn on you.
@leighdearle59654 жыл бұрын
Ha ha I'm hearing you. We've had a few encounters with Japanese police now and it's always been such a nice experience. They bow and constantly apologise for asking us for our vehicle documents. The last time I had to tell the guy to stop saying sorry and it's ok for him to do his job 😂 I'm not sure what they would do if ever confronted with actual serious crime. This country is just so safe.

Le Canada serait une destination logique si on se fie au nettoyage en règle de votre véhicule. Mais il y a certainement d'autres pays dans le monde qui soient aussi maniaque que la douane canadienne. Hey guys, how are you finding the Toyo's? How do you think they stack up against the Coopers?
@leighdearle59654 жыл бұрын
Hey buddy To honest I personally think the Coopers are far superior and as soon as these are done I'll be straight back on the STT Pros 😉 The Toyos just didn't live up to their reputation. For us anyway I know lots of people rate them so highly. They are more than 50% worn already with tons of cracks and nicks... I think we've only done about 20k km on them and we've regularly rotated.
@jimmysando994 жыл бұрын
@@leighdearle5965 thanks for the feedback mate 👍 I ask only because the STT Pro comes in the exact size that I am after and one of my local tyre shops stock Coopers 👌 might have to give them a crack when the current rubber is knackered. cheers mate 👍

@badgerpa94 жыл бұрын
With covid you may not be able to but there are shipping companies out of canada that may be cheaper. Check where they will put your vehicle as in on deck or below and also are you using a shipping container or is it larger truck? If you wider you may need to pay for more than one stall wide. Check the shipping rules for what can go to turkey also as some things are not allowed to export to some countries.

Sorry, that certain UNIMOG has not a suitable wheel base for ExMo conversion; too short. Makes ride too bumpy. Second problem is the loud running noise coming from the engine into the cabine. You hate it, or you’re deaf. Third problem is the wonderful gear ratio of its gearbox. It would withstand a nuke blast but it’s very slow/ short for the road.
