It was a while ago that we did this you should be able to find the trail on wikiloc on All4overland as all the trails we did are on there

Hi there...its a combination of different factors that get the lanes closed..the locals complaining about the offroaders, the ramblers and walkers complain about the offroaders...and offroaders being idiots on the lanes all contribute to getting them shut..but once they get shut its very rare they get re opened..
