My Father is 96 now. He is on his death bed while I write this. We are all from Newfoundland and he is there now waiting to get called home to Mom. I am very proud of my Newfoundland bloodline. We are a good bunch

If any one has old pics or stories of Salmonier where my Great Grandfather Denis Corcoran fished and his brothers and sons. Or pics of Crawley Island or stories. My Grandmother was from Long Harbour her Father my Great Grandfather Michael Murphy and my Great Great Grandfather Patrick Murphy came to Rams Island in the 1800’s from Wexford. They were 1 of the first 5 families on Crawley Island. My grandparents moved to Nova Scotia. And my Grandmother died when my mother was 5. I never got to meet her. I would be so grateful to anyone with information, stories or pictures. I love Newfoundland❤️ I’m not well enough to travel

I know of. Denis Corcoran from Riverhead in St. Mary's Bay. Many of his relatives still there. Is this the same person your talking about I wonder ? They called him Mr. Dinny its not far from Salmonier btw

Agree but really the lies go back to the inception of the CBC and this is coming from someone who grew up kinda worshipping the CBC as we only had two channels to begin with. The biggest offender of course is the national division of the broadcaster and basically all other main stream media as well. but I digress.
