I like how in the advanced settings you can change engine note, and rims sizes... So you can make a normal civic, and then make the engine more "sporty" by straight piping it, and adjusting the engine sounds, but also add *really* thin tire walls and underglow that turns on with the head lights.

If anyone is interested in the recepie: 11 litres of front mounted V12 DOHC, 4 Valves quad turbo 10.000 RPM Race intake with individual throttle bodies. Direct injection of 200 octane dev fuel Race manifold no cat no box dual exhaust about as big as you can fit Max out compression and just make 1.5 bars of boost work with the turboes, ofc everything should be best quality. If you fiddle around enough you will get arould 5500hp and 3500ish Nm As for the drive train awd 50/50, with the widest wheels you can get, with the least amount of sidewall possible make sure final drive is above 690km/h and have abou 400/700kgms of downforce front and rear accordingly. Recommed setting the camber to 0°. If done right 720km/h air speed is guaranteed, and the turboes melt down at the same time as the tank runs dry in beam.

Yeah, it was a V16, I modified it for 4.2.5 to have 8764 HP (less power) but have it reliable for automation (won't blow up until 366 mph)

If you are going for top speed the most power wont do it, i got up to 430mph with i think 1800hp at 12,000rpm, if the car cant do 12k, dont bother it wont be breaking anyrecords.

I've got some design ideas for you that will help quite a bit. 1. Your drivetrain or choice of powered wheels should be RWD for simplicity and greater control. 2. The wheels should be tucked inside of the body to help with drag. 3. Your choice of engine should be on the smaller end of the spectrum to limit the amount of friction in the engine 4. The body should be very smooth and not have sharp drop offs and should have almost no weight transfer to keep grip more stable. 5. The rear wheels should be pretty wide to help with oversteer and fronts should be fairly narrow but should still be wide enough to be useful 6. Rear rims should be 16" with a tall sidewall with low tire pressure (around 10psi) and fronts should have rims that should be as simple as possible with almost no tire showing to help with tires popping (basically solid rubber) 7. The body should have some width and it should be enough to cover the tires. 8. Make the front wheels are in line with the edge of the rear tires to help with stability and control/steering. 9. Make the wheel base long. That will help with stability at high speed and with a stabilizing fin to reduce body roll. 10. Your gearing should be somewhat long to help with wheel spin and reduce the sudden impulse of power and to help soften and control the engine

The way it twists due to the torque produced by the driveshaft… You can probably avoid both this, and the torque steer, by using a transverse engine layout and chain drive. Ditching the differential in favor of a spool, or using a manual locker, may help as well. And you could probably ditch suspension altogether! Not to mention configuring the wheels for Toe-In to improve stability. You should also try getting help from fillman86 to handle the collision stuff. He has a lot of experience with this, thanks to his F1 recreations.

Raise the car up just a tiny bit to avoid the crashing noise at spawn, and also give the front tires some distance from the body and limit the maximum steering angle to give the car some controllability. 😉

Well you beat my record of 312MPH(512kph) on the italy highway. However I was using a standard automation body with no BNG hacks or file edits etc and I routinely make 3500hp inside a chassis and 7000hp+ outside. The new beta turbos make a huge difference.

I designed a crazy insane car just for the sake of insanity. it is an 80s styled wagon with full offroad spec 4wd, a 6 speed manual, and i think an 8L twin turbocharged v8 that makes 1100 horsepower It does 0-60mph in 4 seconds without leaving 1st gear, it tops out at 253mph, and it can do 4wd rolling burnouts

I noticed during the speed tests that the wheel arches do not cover the entirety of the wheels, especially when they are broken. I am wondering if the wheels would be more structurally robust with larger arches or with none at all...

If you also look at the chassis before the body is made, you can imagine exactly how the wheels would react since the pushrod springs extended all the way to the centre of the car. As a result... they kinda flex a lot.
