She was too young although her dad died at 42. It was a shock when I got up at 4am and turned on the TV. Read somewhere that she died of a broken heart because of her son. Too sad and true...

I totally understand you. Karen's lyrics are so powerful and true that sort of forced me to cry while singing. It's a sad and unexpected situation that touched so many people who loved her not only but also for being Elvis's daughter. A reminder that we're mere mortals and even special people like Lisa and her dad eventually pass away. The humanity should understand this undeniable truth and make life better for all of our brothers and sisters. One step at a time and some rays of light every now and then should suffice... still we must be grateful for the gift of life, for the gifts that God gives us along the way.

@ I know, I grew up with her so to speak and have always admired her strength and courage for having Elvis as her dad and beating down rumors and lies , she preserved him to all who loved him!
