Landbased SIGHT FISHING for Bream on the Flats

Gear used:
4wt TFO LK legacy 8'6 fly rod
TFO BVK fly reel
5wt Snowbee floating fly line
12lb and 4lb Sunline FC rock leader

I love what you're trying to do here Josh, but I think it could be improved by lifting the aim of the camera a bit. I would love to see what you're casting at and the takes, but these are all showing the action underneath your rod tip, not where the fly is. Keep up the good work though. Cheers, Graeme

Thanks mate! Totally agree. I was trying out a new camera mount that’s quite hard to see the screen when you’re wearing it so a few teething issues but should have it sorted for the next one 👌🏼

This lake holds some bloody huge bream, I've caught most of my big ones here. 0:10 Caught my PB Bream (38cm fork) under that bridge last year on a cranka crab. Caught a 36cm fork on the opposite side of the lake from you last month (Infeet Rollin Crank DR). I could never crack em on topwater though 🤷‍♂ might try harder this season.

There’s some monsters in there man! They definitely eat topwater but I get more around the rocky edges rather than the sand flats. Key is just getting your lure hard on the wall and bringing it back along the edge for as long as possible 👌🏼
