Thanks for the interesting vid Shad - good use of storage and a solid collection of drifta bags! nice idea keeping winch bag separate, makes sense.
@shaddonaghue4 жыл бұрын
jakobi , yeah i am getting a good collection now , its taken a couple of years but getting there. Yeah i prefer to do my recovery bags like that, sometimes you end up with both out but thats how it is. Thanks for watching 👌😎

Subscriber 726! Nice rundown on your drawers mate 👍👌 I have a similar setup in mine with tools etc on right side and cooking/food on the other. One thing I've found extremely useful is the Yorktown tool roll - saw Stefan Fischer's review and was sold in it - has saved heaps of space now! Your drifta bags probably do the job well enough tho. Have been eyeing off the helinox chairs for a while now and they're next on the list 👌👍 First vid of yours I've seen so will be checking out more - keep up the great work!
@shaddonaghue4 жыл бұрын
thanks for subscribing mate I appreciate it, been thinking about that tool roll as well, maybe I should bite the bullet and get one. the chairs are good ,a bit exspensive but worth it I think. cheers Shad 🍻
@4x4touring474 жыл бұрын
@@shaddonaghue good to hear the chairs are worth it 👍 cos they sure ain't cheap. Do you miss having arms on a chair at all? Just spied the other day they've recently released a new model with Velcro attaching the seperate compartments to the roll base which might well be a better option cos when they're full the whole thing weighs a fair bit. Would make it a tough choice between the 2 types
@shaddonaghue4 жыл бұрын
@@4x4touring47 I thought I was going to miss having no armrests but I actually don't and I don't miss not having a drink holder either. Probably going to do a video on these chairs and what I think about them.

Well setup mate. I like the idea of carrying that flat folding stool. Anything that has mutiple uses is a winner. I love our flat folding step. We use it for easier fridge access, something to stand on in the shower to keep the feet outta the mud, kids use it as a chair, a mini table, a tv stand for kids iPad movie time.

Awesome mate, thanks for watching, we have one of those stools in the camper trailer. its good when things have a few uses.👍

that wheel brace is pretty sweet. I do also need to get me some soft shackles
@shaddonaghue4 жыл бұрын
DENMONKEY Thanks for watching mate, the wheel brace you can pick up from supacheap and also it has a 1/2 inch drive on the end so you can use it as a normal breaker bar if you carry 1/2 inch sockets. The soft shackles are becoming very popular now 👍👍 Cheers Shad 🍻

U mentioned solder in your tackle tray thing, but I didn’t see a soldering iron?
@shaddonaghue4 жыл бұрын
That’s correct mate, its in the shed but also I don’t have an inverter to run it off so maybe I should buy a smaller gas one. Any suggestions? I used to have an inverter in the hilux.Also i need to pack just some basic terminals as well and a spare Anderson plug. Thanks for watching mate 👍👍
@ilove2explore4 жыл бұрын
Shad I have no idea on a gas soldering iron but its on my list to get one. Really good to see what you pack in the back of the car, you take a lot more tools than i do, think i need to up my game. Thanks for taking the time to share your setup
@ilove2explore4 жыл бұрын
Re your wheel wrench, why didn’t you just get the corresponding 1/2” socket?
@shaddonaghue4 жыл бұрын
Aaron Miller the wheel wrench doubles as a breaker bar as it is 1/2 inch drive so i can put any socket on it. Good for the trailer and anyone else i might have to help.
