Flying this thing was about as intuitive as shifting from 5th to reverse in a car with a missing gear lever.

Its sad to think someone spends 1 hr making a quick-scoping montage and gets more views than this when he probably spent close to 5-10 hours to complete this magnificent feet of engineering lol

Matt's good, but if you call him _the_ Kerbal Genius, you haven't seen Bradley Whistance's mind-boggling work, whether he's taking the Empire State Building on a Jool 5 tour with 500 passengers or making insane minimalist missions. Lots of videos and well worth watching IMO. I especially like his Oddysey by Bill series when I'm in the mood for classical music. Also, how can you forget Stratzenblitz75? Wait... did I miss a joke here? I've got this feeling Star Raker is about to launch, because that would make a really big wooooosh!

I have played over 115 hours of this game and it is my second most played game on steam. I haven't yet been to another planet. You make the transfers to another planet look so easy but I'm not sure how. I wanna go to another planet, cause I think I'll get a great sense of achievement from it all. Gonna watch Scott Manley's videos to see how. What I'm trying to say is - thanks for the inspiration! XD
@MattLowne9 жыл бұрын
No worries, to help put your mind to rest Duna and Eve missions don't actually need that much more delta v than a Mun mission (more if you plan on landing on the planets themselves and not their moons), any Mun rocket you have will also be a Gilly lander! Ike doesn't need that much more, and Duna is pretty easy to take off from and the atmosphere allows parachute assisted landings! Obviously Eve is an entire different ball game but it's at least the easiest planet to land on in the game, though I can't say the same for leaving it again! I highly highly recommend the mod kerbal alarm clock, it sets you up for a perfect encounter without having to do any of the confusing maths that Scott talks about. Or you could just do what I do and wing it ;-)
@LightningFox24079 жыл бұрын
Matt Lowne thanks for the info! I'll try kerbal alarm clock, it sounds great! None of that boring maths rubbish. Cheers for the info!
