There is a technical detail: When retracting the gear, brakes will automatically apply to stop rotating wheels. Otherwise centrifugal force will impact aircrafts stability.

Let’s say if you are flying from LAX to SFO with is 40-50 minutes I would recommend flying at 24000ft, would also recommend using google.

Can’t retract gear when wheels are spinning. You have to stop them before retraction.
