I am russian from VLadivostok . I was here and seen this landing many times ..in 1995 i worked on american crabcutcher JUNO , and we fixed a boat in dock in Lake Union nord ...Seattle this best city in a best country ....Salute from rUSSIA ...

@@Ruderaditc update. You're right it was before all the bullshit. 8 months ago I moved out of Seattle to a small town called Elma. So much better than Seattle it's a conservative town. Lol

@@Ruderaditc well I had my phone in my hand lol. I was born and raised in Seattle. So it took a lot for me to eventually move. But when the Dems took over and I realized that Seattle would never be the same again I ended up moving, and wished I had done it a lot sooner. I'm 63 so I spent 6 decades in Seattle. So needless to say I've seen a lot of change there. Best move I ever made was to get out of there. I envy where you live. I have family in the Pacific Northwest so I can't really move that far away. The town I live in is about an hour from the coast. It's a small town with 3,000 people. And no one's afraid to put up Trump signs. If you put up Trump signs in Seattle you get your windows broken.

Wow, that is a some precision landing. You really need to be comfortable with your stopping distance on that kind of approach.

Kenmore Air does it all day long. I think it's like anything - once you learn what to look for - it's a go-nogo call. I suspect if a boat pulled out into the landing zone, the pilot would have gone around or used a secondary.

Amazing ... this plane can share the crowded lake with many private yachts and many other things ... you'd think it takes a long running space in water to take off and land, without a traffic controller, it would not work. If the nation of Indonesia can afford many of these planes, it should be their national transport since their nation is consisted of a thousand islands, and there is no need to build airfields infrastructure.

Nope and this DHC3 is turbine otter so have full reverse thrust so you can land and stop shorter than the normal dhc3
