Landing my first shark in the Kayak on the HOOKUP BAITS in Dana Point - SoCal! INSANE!!!

That's awesome. Great job. Just so happens that we fished yesterday and Jojo hooked 2 Threshers good size ones too. Seen them both jumping right next to the boat but lost them both. Both were on a 1.5 sexy smelt HUB. I think they like that. Bright Glow green color.

Thanks Chad! It's so awesome to see them jump around like crazy. Wow yours was on the Glow Green also... in HUB we trust! The Sheephead I caught with one was on the green too... I throw the bright colors before the sun comes up and I back down to natural colors during well-lit days and do great. I love throwing Hookup Baits!

Awesome fish! I love those Hookup Baits but I never thought to use them outside the Harbor there. Good thing he only got lipped so your line did not get cut. I hooked up with a smaller one this year on live bait but he quickly cut my line :(
