I... would very much enjoy that :D To actually, visually see how this thing is supposed to land with such crazy method. With sensitivity to initial conditions, I can't being to fathom the precision of the calculations involved.

+Scott Manley Also, while the SuperDraco engines are deeply throttleable, I think they only go down to around 20%, while it looks like you had them below 10%.

As for the question on your 64 bit video, yes please!!!! I love all your "math and numbers" videos. Although I originally came to your channel to learn how to not fly like a rock with a rocket on it, I've stayed FOR THE SCIENCE!!! Seriously though, i love your delta v calculations video, your "how many twinkies to destroy a planet" video, and even these livestreams because you spread your love of math and science, and you talk about the real history of space flight and all these wonderfully amazing things that actually happen/ed

Yes, do more videos like the floating point video. I enjoy watching your "let's play" style of videos on KSP, not only because you're better at the game than I am, but because you are more knowledgeable than I am, and you're good at teaching. Videos like your floating point video allow you to teach without the structure of a game. Plus. your accent is sexy.

Hello Scott Manley! Not only did I like the video on 64-bit, but I'd love it if you could go into more detail about approaches to measuring, bounding, and minimizing floating point error, and any alternative representations worth mentioning (I'm thinking of fixed point arithmetic.) Any experience you can bring from Apple would be welcome, too. In case it isn't said enough, I'm happy with the way you run your channel and have nothing to complain about. PS -- did you say Tru64? Didn't support end a couple of years ago?

the earth may as well be hollow from my standpoint, I'm not saying it is physically, but from a view of "there's no possible way of getting anything down there to take pictures of it currently" it may as well be hollow. Just like the ocean has no deepest point and Mars has no life Basically, a very simplistic version of "If you can't show me a picture of it then it's not real"
@OsirusHandle

+rparker069 Consider that taking a picture is just recording an image based on light waves, similarly you can make images using sound waves, like the sound of seismic waves moving through the earth. We already have images of earth's interior.
