Landings are hugely underrated. Anyone that cares about the longevity of their movement should give this topic attention.
It is not enough to know the theory of landings. I believe in conscious repetition while consistently improving the equal distribution of force throughout all parts of the legs. This can be achieved by careful study of the Demi-Plie (or 1/4 squat) and how it translates into the vertical jump.
Additionally, going up on the hands and working the 3 basic landing patterns is a soft and interesting way to improve the quality of your landings while discovering more movement possibilities.
All the drills shown in the video can be done in multiple repetitions and with a bit of rest in between can create a great research session to be integrated into any type of movement practice.
