how to live long as landlord (you WILL be called a coward + gamepass recommended): 1. Buy at least the good hammer when you spawn in 2. Get a house and upgrade it to at least level 2-3 3. Collect taxes until you find a salty person chasing you with a weapon 4. Go hide in your house (use step 5 if necessary) 5. Go outside and circle around your house while spamming the hammer, while avoiding the person attacking you. They will eventually give up and leave (hopefully) 6. repeat steps 3-4 (2 if they destroy your house) until you die or you decide you are rich enough/nobody has high enough rent (Step 5 is only needed if they decide to try and destroy your house) EXTRA TIP: If somebody who has rent due is in a house, you can freely go into their house and hide until you collect their rent. (be careful because they might be hostile towards you)

I love being landlord! Today I got into a server with lot's of maximum houses. The rent was extremely high all the time. Lot's of people tried to kill me lol. Until one leader was chosen and everything went south. The rent went down and I could hardly find anybody with it so I pretty much started attacking random people. But if anybody plans on being a landlord in this game just take the money and run away from them as fast as you can. Also ALWAYS ALWAYSSSSSSSS have a lot of doctors around you so you don't die. If you want buy a sword cause it helps.
