WOW, Columbus has changed so much since I lived there in the mid 1970's. I was a TV news reporter back then on WRBL-TV 3 with Dick McMichael. I lived in the historic district in an old home turned apartment. By the way, when I was a reporter, Phil Scoggins was the sport anchor...and he had tons of dark hair! 🙂 I love what they did with the river. It was brown when I lived there and we would NEVER go swimming in it. I love that my favorite place is still open in Columbus (not in your video) Smokey Pig BBQ!!! Thanks for taking me down memory lane.

Beautiful video, I lived here all my life. The only problem I have is, there are no views of the beautiful campus of TSYS or AFLAC headquarters.

All these super new, modern buildings are probably in outlying areas where nobody on foot can can easily go. Recurring theme here: denial of opportunity,access. That’s what drives this country. A ZIP LINE ACROSS THE RIVER!? Why didn’t they have that when I lived there!?
