A great example of great kids doing great things for others. Teens and kids in general tend to get a bad rap across the nation as being horrible, uncontrollable, you name it they're hated for just about everything....yet the opposite is usually true....many kids are great, there are a few who aren't, but those are the only ones you ever see or hear of, we need more videos of these types of stories showing the true good in our future.

I have Spina Bifida, and I think this is an awesome thing for his friends to do💗💗! I wish I had friends like that when I was in school. I also use a wheelchair.

As soon as he signed up the kids made it, so the school did not even get time: so no critics to the school! But POSITIVES to the students!

You miss the point the school by ADA demands require the school to be ahead of the curve not BEHIND. So yes - I will call the school out. I believe the ADA fine for that type of offense is $5,000.00+

What is really sad and I'm glad that the boy did it. But it took a student to do this and not the state or school board. Or anybody else?
@BODUKE32015 ай бұрын
That just shows students are smarter than they get credited for. And are smarter than school boards or state officials etc

I might be somewhat proud of the school if they took their responsibility to ADA seriously. Truly this problem was on the administration of the school and the school district - before the problem not after.

They did something better when the need arose they made it happen .and they didn't have to spend a ton of tax payers money and the bonus? that ramp will still be there when that young man is gone and 2 young ladies got some practice at using skills they had already learned .so you can't say the school or the teachers don't take there responsibility seriously .

No, it was a problem before. Ada only states establishment have to provide compliant ramps etc when fiscally affordable. Also since the problem hadn't arisen before, there wasnt a need to get into compliance.
