And the God of this world which is evil will take over and the Muslims are waiting for their Messiah to rule the world and he is here waiting So it won't be long my friend The identity of the bride is generally considered within Christian theology to be the church, with Jesus as the bridegroom; Ephesians 5:22-33 in particular compares the union of husband and wife to that of Christ and the church. Revelation's description of the Second Coming isn't surprising then: “Let us be glad and rejoice… for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready” (Revelation 19:7). Jesus is returning to receive the church as His eternal bride. That's the beautiful truth of the Second Coming!!! So be ready now 😊

Revelation's description of the Second Coming isn't surprising then: “Let us be glad and rejoice… for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready” (Revelation 19:7). Upon addition research it looks like Zechariah reference in the New Testament is different from the book Zechariah. Different forefathers and generation.

Everybody chill out. Yes, the Hebrew name is Zechariah, but the Septuagint calls him Zacharias, so in a way, Pastor Landon created a hybrid of both 😃

Good short Intro, thank you! However Zech., son of Ber. was not murdered! That's very probably a insert put in by a writer who had copied the gospel of Matthew and made a mistake. So please be careful by what you say!

The prophet Zechariah prophesied at the same time as Haggai, and the came to bring encouragement to the rebuilders of the Temple under Zerubbable. But no sooner had Zechariah given his prophecy than the Jews killed him, as Jesus said. The killing of Zechariah is the proof, they learned nothing in the captivity and did not give up their evil ways. Therefore the glory of the Lord did not come to the Temple again until Jesus came to the Temple. Give up your doctrine and read the words on the page.

Interesting religious/symbolic interpretation of the Book of Zechariah. However, you repeat an unfortunate libel at 3:54. "They" did not kill Jesus. You are trying to implicate the Israelites. Were that the case, Jesus would have been stoned, as were all criminal executions by the people of that region. Only the Romans killed by crucifixion, but as we read the Gospels chronologically, early Christians, now centered in Rome, had to keep moving guilt away from the Roman (or more likely southern Italian in today's geography) Pilate.

The Gospels make it very clear that Pilate by all means tried to release Jesus, but he only agreed to execution in fear of the Jewish leaders stirring the rest of the Jewish people to uprising. Yes, it is unfortunate that so many people groups in the past and present have used the crucifixion of Jesus as their basis for Anti-antisemitism, but one can blame the Jews without being Anti-Semitic. The 1st century Jewish leaders living in Jerusalem, who are a small minority representation of the Jewish people (back then and today) are equally as responsible for the execution of Jesus as the Romans, including Herod and Pontius Pilate.
