@samiuddinomer8154 the Quran says to follow the Bible (Torah, Psalms, Gospel) and the Bible nullifies the Quran. The Bible tells us that Jesus is God (yes it does, I can prove it) while the Quran says He is a prophet of Allah. If Allah found that Muhammad was a false prophet, he would cut his aorta (Quran 69:44-46, Muhsin Khan). (Sahih Bukhari 5:59:713) Muhammad tells Aisha that he feels his aorta is being cut from the poisonous food he had at Khaibar. Not very smart letting a Jewish woman, whose relatives you just slaughtered, cook your lamb shoulder. Muhammad was a ped0, illiterate, semen covered, genocidal caravan robber, who even the Quran tells us is a false prophet. I'm not typing this to make fun of your beliefs, but please reconsider what you're following. It's dangerous

Speaking of all of the cool connectivity of scriptures: The timing of the proclamation to rebuild the Temple in Ezra 7:11, is also very significant to understanding the 70 week of Daniels prophecy, which prophesies the coming of Jesus our Lord. The whole Word of God is amazing.. it’s all connected.

I heard somewhere...The older people were weeping because they saw God's glory come down from heaven when Solomon had dedicated the temple... But that did not happen when this temple was built.. hence they were weeping.. and the younger people had no clue but were just happy to have the temple again finally... makes more sense for me.. btw great work .. i love your videos n jokes.. your Ezra is adorable..

The men crying in Ezra 3:12 at the laying of the new temple's foundation are a good lesson for us all. Sadly, the older men were crying because they thought it was lesser than Soloman's temple they had before. The Lord spoke about this in Haggai 2:3-9 and in Zechariah 4:8-10. "Who is left among you who saw this house in its former glory? How do you see it now? Is it not as nothing in your eyes?" - Haggai 2:3
@TJFozzie924 Жыл бұрын
I came here looking to see if anyone commented on this passage. I find it to be a key factor in this process of temple building. Interestingly enough, those who wept were not weeping with joy. The verbiage delineates the reaction of those shouting for joy and inserts, “BUT many of the priests and Levites and heads of fathers’ houses, old men who had seen the first house, wept with a loud voice when they saw the foundation of this house being laid, THOUGH MANY shouted aloud for joy…” (emphasis to show difference) These old men knew the former Temple as having been filled with the Holy Spirit. Realizing this temple was truly lesser because the Spirit did not fill it would certainly move them to tears of longing for what they knew God had done, and what was missing due to their disobedience. Reading and studying chapter 3 in light of the original Temple construction and the presence of God in the original is mind-boggling and convicting all at once. Thanks for pointing this part out ~ the beauty and depth of Scripture shines as we dig and the Spirit illuminates. Go with God!

isn't Ezra before Esther? I'm in my Bible study and i am dedicatin to know more about God through reading the Bible chronologically, but it seems that sometimes the placement of each chapters in the Old Testament might not place in order (but they truly have a longer extent that drive us to e.g. the aftermath of the story or the recall of the story, etc.) so that's why i kinda do my research to satisfy this curiosity and to ascertain what I should read first in order to fully understand how the story went. My mama just said that, just read it the way as it is ordered, because it is not without reason that it has been arranged in such a way, so that people who read it can easily get the plot of the story. Please enlighten me if I'm wrong, I really just merely wanna know the TRUTH :)

At the 2:03 mark of the video, the older people were actually weeping because of how much grander and more magnificent the original temple was than the current one being built! Ezra 3:12 But many of the priests and Levites and chief of the fathers, who were ancient men, that had seen the first house, when the foundation of this house was laid before their eyes, wept with a loud voice; and many shouted aloud for joy:

Thanks for the informative video. FYI though... Mordecai was not Esther's uncle. She was actually the daughter of Mordecai's uncle, thereby making her his cousin. Est 2:5-7 KJV... Now in Shushan the palace there was a certain Jew, whose name was Mordecai, the son of Jair, the son of Shimei, the son of Kish, a Benjamite; And he brought up Hadassah, that is, Esther, his uncle's daughter: for she had neither father nor mother, and the maid was fair and beautiful; whom Mordecai, when her father and mother were dead, took for his own daughter.
